Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Platform Operations Manager to lead the operational preparation and launch of Peacock’s streamable VOD content, along with hubs and campaigns. You will coordinate with Product, Marketing, and Support to ensure timely, high-quality content delivery and audience-targeted experiences.

The role requires cross-functional leadership, strong CMS and data workflow skills, and a hands-on approach to 24/7 operations in a fast-paced media environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience on digital media platforms.
  • 3+ years managing title operations or publishing at large-scale media services.
  • Experience with CMS toolsets.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong organization and communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Create and scale a playbook to support cross-functional launches of priority VOD content.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Peacock campaigns, collections, and hubs scheduling.

We’relooking for aunflappable, detail-oriented team member who can managevarious content management systemsin a fast-changingindustry—while alsoprovidingversatile support to the team.The Platform Operations team is tasked with ensuring thepromotion ofpriority titles,buzzymetadata,eye-catching imagery,and related assets thatintrigue subscribers. This includes alternative and custom assets used in audience segmentation and multi-varianttesting.

It’sa 24/7 operation responsible for updating content based on performance, strategy, and events unfolding in real time.Our teamworksin coordination with the Product, Marketing, and Customer Support teams in addition to other stakeholders.Therefore, this role will be involved in product enhancements,metadata optimization, and feature expansions that keep Peacock evolving and current inthe streaming landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Createand scale aplaybook of operational executions thatwillsupportcross-functionallaunches of priorityVODcontent
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of building and schedulingPeacock-branded campaigns, collections, and hubs
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of building and scheduling the platform’s varied tiers and audience-targeted experiences
  • Lead a team oftech-savvyprogrammers who buildthevarious environments on Peacock
  • Ideate and collaborate on new product enhancements by advising on theoperational implementationthat’dbring said experience to life
  • Providesupport for tentpole initiatives across NBCUniversal verticals,including high-profile content launches, breaking news events, and marqueesporting events
  • Evaluate incidents toidentifyimmediate solutions and work with the Impact teamto elevate issues to the proper departments if necessary
  • Liaison between Merchandising Strategy, Product, andCMSToolingteams to ensure that all parties are informed of platform schedulingand potential bugs
  • Support theSr.Manager of Platform Operations in process optimizations,productenhancements, and both strategic and creative decision-making
Qualifications
  • 3+ years’experience working on digital media platforms
  • 3+years of experience managing title operations or publishing at a large-scale merchandising, e-commerce, or video service
  • Experience with CMS toolsets
  • Experience withAirTable
  • Exhibitexcellent organization and communication skills, attention to detail, and theability toclearly and concisely articulate workflows and conceptsfor a variety ofaudiences
  • Proactivelyidentifyopportunities to enhance processes forefficienciesand helpdevelop new workflows for continual improvement for platform operations
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills

Additional Requirements

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

  • Salary range: $85,000 - $110,000 +bonus & long-term incentive eligible.
