Job summary

MaineHealth seeks a Manager of Philanthropy in the Brunswick area to lead fundraising initiatives and nurture donor relationships that advance patient care.

You will identify donor engagement opportunities, steward partnerships, and develop strategies to support the mission. This role emphasizes collaboration, community impact, and strategic leadership in healthcare philanthropy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and/or CFRE preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive fundraising, community relations, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising fundraising or development professionals preferred; healthcare or higher education philanthropy preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities; proficient in CRM/fundraising databases and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies that support MaineHealth's mission.

Summary:

The Manager of Philanthropy provides strategic leadership and execution of fundraising efforts. This role is responsible for cultivating a culture of philanthropy by building strong relationships with community members, physicians, employees, and prospective major gift donors.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and/or CFRE preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of five years of progressive experience in fundraising, community relations, or the equivalent. Prior experience supervising fundraising or development professionals preferred. Experience in healthcare or higher education philanthropy preferred.
3. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Strong organizational and project management abilities. Proficient in CRM/fundraising databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.

The pay range for this position is $89,980.80to $121,721.60per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
