Job summary

Abrazo West Campus is seeking a dynamic Manager, Pharmacy Operations to lead the Pharmacy Department's daily operations and drive safe, compliant pharmaceutical care.

You'll partner with the Director of Pharmacy, supervise staff, and implement process improvements across acute care settings, including trauma and robotic-assisted procedures, contributing to excellent outcomes in a high-acuity hospital.

Qualifications

  • Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy management experience.
  • Licensure: Active Arizona Pharmacist License.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Pharmacy in the overall direction and operational management of the Pharmacy Department.
  • Supervise daily pharmacy operations in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, coach, and support pharmacy staff under the purview of the Director of Pharmacy.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical and operational teams to support high-quality pharmaceutical care.
  • Identify, develop, and implement operational, workflow, and process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and service excellence.
  • Assume responsibility for pharmacy operations in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, making decisions aligned with organizational policies and operational goals.
  • Performs duties as of a staff pharmacist as needed.

Responsibilities
Position Summary

The Manager, Pharmacy Operations supports the Director of Pharmacy in leading the operational effectiveness of the Pharmacy Department. This role plays a critical leadership function in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant pharmaceutical care while driving continuous improvement across pharmacy operations. The Manager serves as a trusted operational leader and assumes responsibility for daily pharmacy operations in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy leader who enjoys hands-on leadership, process optimization, and collaboration in a complex acute care environment.
