Job summary

Dignity Health's Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA seeks a Pharmacy Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversee safe, efficient pharmaceutical care. Lead and mentor the pharmacy team, review prescriptions for safety, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to resolve medication issues.

The role requires PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with CA licensure and several years of experience; leadership exposure is preferred. A sign-on bonus up to 10% of salary is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent pharmacy (or similar) work experience required.
• Active CA State Pharmacist License in good standing required.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Pharmacy Manager, you will be a strategic leader and clinical authority, orchestrating safe, efficient, and patient-centered pharmaceutical care delivery.

Every day, you will lead and supervise the pharmacy team, meticulously reviewing and authorizing prescriptions for safety (interactions, dosing, allergies). You'll oversee efficient workflow, from authorization to dispensing, and consult with doctors and nurses to troubleshoot medication issues.

To be successful in this role, you will possess comprehensive clinical expertise, proven leadership, and an analytical mind for process optimization. Your commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and patient safety will drive our pharmacy's success.

We are offering to qualified and experienced candidates a sign-on bonus not to exceed 10% of salary for this position.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required
• Minimum of 3 years of recent pharmacy (or similar) work experience required.

Required Licensure

• Active CA State Pharmacist License in good standing required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a leadership position or pharmacy residency completed or supplemental Masters Degree (MBA, MS, MHA, etc) preferred.

Pay Range

$80.17 - $119.26 /hour
