Job summary

Dignity Health in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Manager who will serve as a strategic clinical authority, lead the pharmacy team, and oversee safe, patient-centered pharmaceutical care delivery.

You will review prescriptions for safety, manage workflows from authorization to dispensing, collaborate with physicians and nurses to troubleshoot medication issues, and drive continuous improvement focused on patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Advanced or Master's degree preferred (e.g., Pharm.D.).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Pharmacist in an acute care setting; minimum of two (2) years of pharmacy leadership experience.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Pharmacy Manager, you will be a strategic leader and clinical authority, orchestrating safe, efficient, and patient-centered pharmaceutical care delivery.

Every day, you will lead and supervise the pharmacy team, meticulously reviewing and authorizing prescriptions for safety (interactions, dosing, allergies). You'll oversee efficient workflow, from authorization to dispensing, and consult with doctors and nurses to troubleshoot medication issues.

Job Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required. Advanced or Master's degree preferred (e.g., Pharm.D.) .

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Pharmacist in an acute care setting. Minimum of two (2) years of pharmacy leadership experience.

• Registered Pharmacist license. Oversight for an acute care facility requires licensure in the state in which you practice.

Pay Range

$80.17 - $119.26 /hour
