Overview

The Manager, Pharmaceutical Production plays a key role within the Operations team, supporting the on-time execution and delivery of sterile drug products. This position is responsible for leading manufacturing efforts, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise in aseptic manufacturing, and a collaborative mindset to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Manager, Pharmaceutical Production

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

Provide manufacturing expertise, oversight, and guidance across operations.
Lead and develop a team of direct reports.
Offer subject matter expertise in aseptic manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals.
Partner with Quality leadership to uphold cGMP standards and manage quality events.
Ensure readiness of the manufacturing department to meet commercial demand.
Support maintenance and reliability initiatives for manufacturing equipment.
Maintain compliance with US and international regulatory agencies (FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including leadership experience.
Expertise in aseptic techniques, regulatory requirements, and validation for parenteral products.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.
Excellent communication skills, especially under pressure.
Agile and adaptable with a willingness to learn and work in dynamic settings.
Experience with radiation safety programs (preferred).
Lean and/or Six Sigma certification (preferred).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Visio.

Estimated Min Rate: $11000.00

Estimated Max Rate: $115000.00
