Are you a strategic, empathetic, and proactive professional passionate about patient engagement? At Syneos Health, we're seeking a Manager, Patient Engagement Strategy to drive meaningful collaboration between patient communities and the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you'll help ensure the patient voice is integrated across the clinical and commercial lifecycle-making healthcare more inclusive, informed, and impactful.

You'll support industry leaders on globally focused projects that prioritize diverse patient perspectives.
What You'll Do
As a Manager, Patient Engagement Strategy, you'll serve as a strategic partner to clients and internal teams-leading initiatives that embed advocacy insights into clinical and commercial strategies.
Strategic Client Engagement
Serve as a key point of contact for pharma/biotech clients on patient engagement and advocacy efforts
Translate client needs into actionable, patient-centered strategies aligned with therapeutic goals
Facilitate regular meetings to ensure alignment and drive partnership success
Patient Advocacy & Engagement Strategy
Co-develop advocacy plans that reflect real patient needs and preferences
Support inclusive engagement frameworks in partnership with senior leaders
Stay current on global advocacy trends and adapt strategies accordingly
Project Execution
Implement and manage multi-channel initiatives-advisory boards, social media audits, and community insight-gathering programs
Track timelines, coordinate cross-functional tasks, and deliver high-quality, community-facing content
Assist in moderating patient councils and listening sessions with empathy and professionalism
Business Development & Internal Collaboration
Contribute to proposals, budgets, and presentations for new business opportunities
Help identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
Collaborate across global teams to deliver integrated patient engagement solutions
Subject Matter Expertise
Champion patient-partnered thinking across internal and external projects
Maintain knowledge of therapeutic areas, advocacy ecosystems, and care contexts
Represent Syneos Health with professionalism and respect in all patient community engagements
What You Bring
Minimum 5 years' experience leading patient engagement strategies in the life sciences industry, with responsibility for embedding patient insights into clinical, regulatory, and commercial decision-making
Experience managing partnerships with patient communities, including co-developing initiatives, aligning on strategic objectives, and cultivating long-term, trust-based relationships that advance shared goals
Solid understanding of clinical development, medical affairs, and commercialization processes, with the ability to translate patient and community insights into relevant actions
Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders
Solutions-oriented mindset and demonstrated success working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment, with high levels of accountability and adaptability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as collaborative platforms such as Teams and SharePoint
Global experience and multilingual capabilities are advantageous
UK/EU location strongly preferred; less than 5% travel required
