Job Summary:

Responsible for the patient registration and pre-registration functions across the Nebraska Methodist Hospital, Methodist Fremont Hospital, Methodist Women’s Hospital, Health West and West Dodge imaging and surgical areas.

Responsible for daily operations, staff, performance improvement, compliance with accreditation standards, budget and quality outcomes.

Manage and direct the daily operation of assigned areas and staff. Develop, implement, maintain and enforce departmental programs, policies, procedures and protocols. Ensure and maintain required documentation for compliance with safety, environmental and infection control standards and with local, state and federal regulations. Monitor compliance with standards, identify variances or inabilities to meet established targets and implement action to ensure that targets are met.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in registration or healthcare access, healthcare insurance or business office or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year previous supervisor or leadership experience required.

License/Certifications

• Certification in Healthcare Access Management (CHAM) preferred.
