Job description

The Manager, Paid Social Media leads the execution and optimization of Best Buy’s paid social media programs across a portfolio of social media channels. This role combines hands‑on channel expertise with strategic thinking, overseeing campaign execution, content publishing, community engagement, and performance analysis. The manager identifies opportunities to enhance social capabilities, drive business results, and strengthen customer engagement.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do

• Execute and optimize paid social media campaigns, including campaign setup, audience targeting, budget management, performance monitoring, and reporting.
• Identify and evaluate new social platform capabilities, advertising formats, and emerging opportunities to advance social media performance and maturity.
• Serve as a working‑level expert and partner contact for social platforms, leveraging knowledge of platform updates, beta programs, policies, and best practices.
• Translate channel performance, audience insights, and campaign results into recommendations that inform social strategy and business decisions.
• 5+ years of social media marketing, digital marketing, or advertising experience.
• 2+ years’ experience with Meta, TikTok, or other social media platforms.
• 2+ years’ experience executing paid social campaigns across major social platforms.
• 2+ years’ experience analyzing campaign performance (i.e. CTR, CPA, CPM, ROAS) and developing actionable insights.
• 2+ years’ experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience managing owned social content and community engagement.
• Experience in retail, ecommerce or retail media.
• Knowledge of social media measurement and attribution practices.
• Experience managing platform partner relationships and beta testing opportunities.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
