About You

As a Manager specializing in Paid Search, you drive growth by orchestrating campaigns that exceed client expectations. Your strategic vision and deep understanding of SEM, bid strategies, and client goals enable you to craft tactical roadmaps, dashboards, and presentations that keep stakeholders informed. You mentor team members to refine their craft and contribute to agency thought leadership.

Proficiency Expectations

We expect Managers to have a solid foundation of paid search account management skills, from strategy to execution, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. We expect the proficiencies listed below:

  • Experience across Google - search, display and/or app campaigns
  • Experience with a combination of these campaign types: UAC (universal app campaigns), ACi (app campaign install), Google app campaigns, GDN campaigns (Google Display Network), performance max, discovery campaigns
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • Advanced understanding of paid search channels and bid management platforms such as SA360
  • Driving channel-specific account tactical strategy geared towards client efficiency and growth goals
  • Develop and execute account management monitoring and optimization techniques to drive performance toward client targets and budgets
  • Able to quantify and prioritize initiatives with greatest impact on account performance
  • Drive the paid search component of client roadmaps, testing plans, dashboards, and reports to meet client needs
  • Accountable for managing the performance of designated client portfolio toward goals and budgets
  • Support Client Partners with communications to deliver a clear strategic vision
  • Contribute slides to critical decks led by Client Partners, ensuring alignment with overall strategic vision
  • QA all paid search management efforts to ensure error-free delivery
  • Stay current on agency POVs, thought leadership, and industry trends
  • Onboard new team members to accounts with client context and priorities
Growth Expectations

Over time, Managers are expected to:

  • Coach Associates & Senior Associates on paid search
  • Understand client business objectives and how paid search supports them
  • Contribute to agency thought leadership via blogs and case studies
  • Mentor junior team members through hands-on account support and training
  • Manage direct reports with skill development and work-life balance considerations
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years’ paid search experience within Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and analytics platforms
  • Strong understanding of bid management platforms such as SA360
  • Experience across all Google networks - display, search, and app campaigns
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • Proven ability to present findings and recommendations for optimizations
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficient in Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

The anticipated salary range for this position is US Remote Range: $61,600 - $85,000 USD (based on factors including experience and location). This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling; flexibility is available.
