New Engen is seeking a Paid Search Specialist to own growth for high-growth startup and DTC accounts. You will lead Paid Search strategy and execution across channels, delivering measurable client impact.

Bring hands-on expertise in Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) and familiarity with Microsoft Ads. You will translate client goals into thoughtful strategies, monitor campaigns, and optimize toward business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Paid Search experience, ideally in an agency.
• Strong Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) experience; Microsoft Ads is a plus.
• Ability to independently manage campaigns and client relationships.
• Strong analytical skills to turn data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent client-facing communication and deck presentation skills.

What You’ll Do

Drive Client Growth

Own and manage a portfolio of high-growth startup/DTC accounts, serving as a key day-to-day client partner. Lead Paid Search strategy and execution while partnering across channels to deliver integrated performance. Ramp quickly to take ownership of accounts independently, managing priorities and driving measurable client impact. Build strong client relationships through clear communication, proactive recommendations, and a strong understanding of each client’s business goals. Analyze performance and translate data into actionable insights, optimizations, and testing opportunities.

Bring Channel Expertise

Bring strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads, including Search, Shopping, and Performance Max, with experience in Microsoft Ads a plus. Translate client goals into thoughtful Paid Search strategies, testing plans, and performance recommendations. Monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities, and proactively optimize toward client goals. Stay current on platform updates, automation, bidding strategies, measurement, and emerging Paid Search best practices. Collaborate closely with analytics, media, and creative partners to improve campaign performance, landing page experience, and overall efficiency.

Support the Team

Partner with senior team members and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain portfolio health and client satisfaction. Share Paid Search knowledge, best practices, and feedback with junior team members. Support the development of junior talent through coaching and mentorship, with opportunities to grow into people management responsibilities over time.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of Paid Search experience, ideally within an agency environment working with high-growth and/or DTC brands.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads, including Search, Shopping, and Performance Max; Microsoft Ads experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage campaigns and client relationships while balancing multiple accounts and priorities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Strong client-facing communication and storytelling skills, including experience building and presenting polished decks.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is a plus.
• Scrappy, adaptable mindset and comfort working within a lean, fast-paced, high-caliber team.
• Background at performance marketing agencies such as Tinuiti, Wpromote, Power Digital, Merkle, or similar is a plus.

Salary Range: $90,000–$100,000 USD annual

Compensation for each opportunity is determined based on the applicable labor market, the scope and structure of the role or engagement, and the individual’s qualifications and experience.
