Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics or ABC-approved certificate plus NCOPE residencies in O&P.
• American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) certification.
• Minnesota licensure.
• AHA/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum three years of clinical and technical experience in O&P.
• Five years hospital/medical office experience with insurance authorization (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and manage day-to-day activities of O&P clinical, technician and department staff.
• Ensure quality orthotic/prosthetic devices per physician's prescription and maintain confidentiality.
• Establish workflow and coordinate fabrication center communications for quality devices.
• Maintain ABC facility accreditation and proficiency in OPIE software.
• Lead independently as a licensed prosthetist/orthotist and support staff and families.

Please click here to learn more about our locations.Job DescriptionShriners Children's Twin Cities has an opportunity for a Manager, Orthotics & Prosthetics to join our team in Woodbury, MN, The Manager of Orthotics & Prosthetics is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the day-to-day activities of assigned staff; assuring provisions of quality orthotic/prosthetic devices are in accordance with Physician's prescription, and to act as a resource to staff, patients, families and the general public regarding assigned areas of responsibility.
