Our proprietary screens deliver dynamic content based on location-based, GPS-enabled triggers. Firefly empowers our employees to thrive by embracing their authentic selves, fostering a culture of individuality, and celebrating diversity. We believe that when you can be yourself at work, you can bring your best to the table. We value your unique perspectives and contributions, recognizing that every idea, no matter how unconventional, has the potential to drive innovation and progress.

Join us, and discover a workplace where you can truly be yourself, make a meaningful impact, and boldly explore new horizons.

Drive the light, accelerate innovation, steer with authenticity!

You will own Firefly's order-to-cash desk end to end - from credit approval and contract setup through invoicing, cash, collections, revenue and month-end reconciliations. Just as importantly, you will help us rebuild the desk around AI. We are actively automating manual work with AI tools and integrations, and we want someone who is excited to design, test and run those new workflows, not just process transactions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Credit & customer onboarding
  • Run credit checks on new advertisers and agencies (Experian), recommend payment terms and approve opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Complete customer vendor setup requests: W-9s, supplier forms, AP portals and Bill.com network enrollment.
Contracts (Salesforce to Sage Intacct)
  • Review closed-won deals from a billing perspective (flight dates, products, amounts, agency requirements) before syncing.
  • Sync and set up contracts in Sage Intacct, set up new items, and keep contracts up to date when deals change.
  • Handle contract holds, resyncs and barter / trade deals.
Billing & invoicing
  • Generate and issue invoices in Sage Intacct, including first invoices, prepayment invoices and prebills.
  • Manage automated invoice delivery and make sure invoices reach the right customer contacts.
  • Run partner billing processes and handle voids, reissues and corrections.
Cash receipts
  • Retrieve lockbox and bank receipts (Citi, SVB), and post and apply customer payments daily.
  • Process and approve card payments (Authorize.net) and send payment links, while steering customers to ACH / wire.
  • Prepare the weekly deposit summary and clear unapplied cash.
Collections & customer support
  • Answer customer questions on invoices, payments and balances, and run day-to-day collections through to resolution.
  • Own automated customer statements and weekly seller aging reports, plus dunning and manual follow-ups.
  • Lead collection meetings with Sales Management and support sellers and account managers on billing.
  • Manage distressed accounts
Revenue
  • Close direct-sold, agency-sold and programmatic revenue each month, including partner revenue-share adjustments.
  • Post revenue in Sage Intacct and tie out revenue between Salesforce and Sage Intacct.
  • Prepare monthly revenue-share schedules for partners and coordinate with them.
Month-end close, audit & compliance
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations: Accounts Receivable, Unbilled Revenue, Deferred Revenue, Undeposited Funds and Other Receivables.
  • Support the annual financial audit for AR and revenue.
AI & automation
  • Use AI tools (e.g. Claude) every day to speed up research, reconciliations, customer communication and reporting.
  • Work with the Controller to automate the most manual parts of the desk, such as the programmatic import into Sage Intacct, the revenue tie-out and collections follow-up.
  • Help build and maintain an AI-powered AR dashboard and keep process documentation (SOPs) current as workflows change.
  • Spot new automation opportunities and measure the time saved.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections and revenue accounting.
  • Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Sage Intacct experience strongly preferred (especially Contracts and AR).
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and of how CRM data flows into billing.
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
  • You actively use AI tools and automation (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT or workflow tools) to reduce manual work.
  • Clear, professional written communication and a persistent but friendly collections style.
  • Confidence working independently with sellers and account managers internally, and with agencies and direct advertisers externally.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, multi-time-zone team.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in English at a C1/C2 level (Advanced/Proficient) according to the CEFR; communicate clearly and effectively in both written and spoken English in a professional setting.
  • Nice to have:Experience in media, advertising or agency billing, including programmatic.
