Your Impact

The Order Management Manager – Domestic Team is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order processing workflow for all U.S.-based customer orders. This role ensures that all orders are accurately reviewed, validated, and ready for fulfillment in a timely manner while maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., SOX, revenue recognition standards). The ideal candidate will be a people leader with strong operational discipline and a proactive mindset.

What You’ll Do

Location: Scottsdale, Boston, Seattle, Atlanta, Denver, San Francisco, or Washington D.C.
Reports to: Director, Order Management

  1. Lead and manage a team of domestic order specialists, ensuring timely and accurate order entry, validation, and processing.
  2. Own the order processing lifecycle for all U.S. transactions, coordinating across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Logistics teams.
  3. Ensure compliance with SOX controls, Axon's booking policy, and audit requirements.
  4. Maintain checklists, playbooks and other guidelines to support team training and processes.
  5. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to resolve order discrepancies and clarify deal structure details.
  6. Drive continuous improvement in order processes, systems, and reporting tools.
  7. Monitor order volumes, backlog, and SLA performance; deliver regular metrics and insights to leadership.
  8. Support go-live and post-launch operations for new product offerings, pricing models, and billing changes.
  9. Train and develop the order management team, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career growth opportunities.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in order management or billing, with 2+ years in a people management role.
  • Strong knowledge of order-to-cash processes, revenue recognition principles, and ERP/CRM systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a track record of driving operational accuracy and compliance.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Leverages data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP dashboards, Power BI) to monitor order fulfillment metrics, identify bottlenecks, and optimize end-to-end order management processes.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local government procurement processes.
  • Experience with SOX-compliant environments.
  • Background in SaaS, hardware, or hybrid business models.
  • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and scale operations in a high-growth company.

The Pay: Axon offers total compensation including base pay, bonus, and stock awards. Starting base pay ranges from USD 89,850 to USD 143,760 depending on market and experience. For more details, visit www.axon.com/careers/benefits.
