Job summary

Carpenter's Place in Rockford, IL is seeking a reliable Manager on Duty to lead daily store operations and deliver an exceptional experience for customers, donors, and team members.

You will work with the Store Manager and Retail Management to ensure a clean, organized store, reflect the organization’s Christ-centered mission, and perform hands-on leadership in customer service, merchandising, and cash handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years of retail or related experience preferred.
• Commitment to the faith-based mission and values of Carpenter's Place.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, friendly, and joyful shopping experience for every customer.
• Model mission and values by demonstrating Christ-centered service toward customers, donors, and team members.
• Support the Retail Management team in maintaining customer service standards and a positive team environment.
