Summary:
This role is responsible for managing Omnichannel Marketing for Food customers with responsibility to partner with the Sales organization to drive top and bottom-line growth by delivering best-in-class marketing & media excellence, digital commerce, and in-store & online demand. This role is a key contributor to our Omni Marketing strategy of accelerating sales growth and driving market share by delivering a seamless omnichannel experience across key retailer partners.

This position is internally and externally facing, serving as the key partner with Hershey Sales, Marketing, Media and Cat Man teams. Externally, this position will be responsible for building long-lasting and sustainable relationships with the Marketing, Media, and Digital Merchant contacts at Food customers and supporting the relationship with the category Merchants to further establish Hershey as a leader in Omnichannel Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  1. Influences retailer customers across the path-to-purchase with integrated holistic omni activation (store and online).
  2. Leads planning, development, and execution of omnichannel marketing programs; Oversees teams and agencies driving omni retailer programming inclusive of retail media, shopper programs, holistic search, POS, content, coupons, etc.
  3. Owns omni marketing creative briefing, approval, and execution in collaboration with Creative, Brand, and Legal teams; Manages Creative AOR relationship for specified customers.
  4. Owns overall retail media strategy, execution, optimization and measurement in partnership with Media AOR, Retail Media COE and Media Analytics teams; Manages Media AOR relationship for specified customers.
  5. Owns customer relationships with Retail Media and Digital Merchant teams; Supports Merchant team relationships.
  6. Effectively communicates, collaborates, and builds relationships at all organizational levels and with multiple customer stakeholders.
  7. Understands customer specific performance, insights, and trends to inform omni strategies and uncover new opportunities.
  8. Owns retailer digital commerce strategy and execution inclusive of content, search (paid & organic) and site taxonomy in partnership with key internal stakeholders (Content, Holistic Search, Sales, and Cat Man).
  9. Translates data and insights into demand generation; Collaborates with sales, category strategy, and insights teams to drive merchandising, marketing, and promotions.
  10. Partners with sales counterparts on annual/quarterly planning for applicable customers.
  11. Owns retailer JBPs from a marketing/media perspective and supports overall JBP negotiations, strategies, and delivery.

  4. Expertise in omni marketing inclusive of agency management, creative development of physical/digital programs, and development of big ideas.
  5. Experience with media, search (paid & organic), digital merch, and content management.
  6. Ability to identify issues and opportunities, developing solutions, securing alignment and leading implementation with limited guidance.
  7. Strong problem solving and project management skills with a proven ability to work on multiple assignments at once on tight deadlines.
  8. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively with multiple customers.
  9. Ability to thrive in ambiguity with a self-starter, proactive mindset.
  10. Strong communication and effective presentation skills.
  11. Proficiency: MS Excel, PowerPoint.

Experience:

  1. Omnichannel Marketing or similar experience (5-7 years).
  2. Customer facing experience preferred.
  3. CPG background preferred.
  4. People management experience preferred.

Education:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree required.
  2. MBA preferred.
