Job summary

Community Medical Centers in Fresno seeks a Manager of Behavioral Health Therapeutic Services to oversee inpatient behavioral health services, guide evidence-based treatments, and lead a team of CBHC professionals in care coordination and discharge planning.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field; a PhD in Behavioral Health or related field; licensure options in California; and preferred prior management experience with crisis

Qualifications

• Experience in psychological testing, diagnosis, crisis intervention and/or psychotherapy required
• Previous management experience preferred
• One of the following licenses: LCSW, LMFT, or PSY licensed in California

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage therapeutic and mental health care within the inpatient behavioral health setting
• Provide guidance to CBHC mental health professionals to ensure appropriate treatment
• Direct utilization management, therapeutic interventions, case management and discharge planning

Education

Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage Family Therapy or related field required

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Behavioral Health, Social Welfare or related field required

Responsibilities

The Manager of Behavioral Health Therapeutic Services is responsible for the oversight and management of therapeutic and mental health care within the inpatient behavioral health setting. The manager works to support evidence-based treatments and provides guidance to CBHC mental health professionals to provide the most appropriate treatment as indicated. Responsible for the overall direction, supervision and evaluation of utilization management, therapeutic interventions, case management and discharge planning functions performed by personnel at Community Behavioral Health Center.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage Family Therapy or related field required or
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Behavioral Health, Social Welfare or related field required
• Experience in psychological testing, diagnosis, crisis intervention and/or psychotherapy required
• Previous management experience preferred
• One of the following is requiredo LCSW - State of California Licensed Clinical Social Workero LMFT - State of California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapisto PSY - State of California Clinical Psychologist License
