Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Manager of Technical Service for North America to lead the Ruminant Technical Service team, shaping the technical strategy and partnering across Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Innovation functions.

You will oversee trials, engage producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, and industry influencers, and drive science-based solutions to customers while advancing animal health and sustainability across North America.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and subject matter experts.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Support product launches, technical positioning, customer education, and scientific communications.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
• Shape technical strategy and influence the future of animal health, nutrition, and sustainability.

As Manager of Technical Service , you will lead the North American Ruminant Technical Service team and ensure the successful delivery of technical expertise across our probiotic, enzyme, feed additive, and silage solutions portfolio. Travel: Up to 50% domestic travel with occasional international travel, including customer visits, industry conferences, technical meetings, and field engagements.

Flexibility to support customers and business needs across multiple time zones.

USD $140,000 – $190,000 + 15% target bonus
