Job summary

Oscar Health seeks a Manager, Strategic Planning to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage end-to-end implementations. You will create project plans, engage stakeholders, and drive on-time delivery while mitigating risks.

You will analyze departmental performance, develop metrics, and collaborate with partner groups on proactive change management programs. Mentoring and compliance duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience delivering projects
• 4+ years of experience in program management
• Healthcare experience preferred (Health Insurance/Health Systems/Healthcare Consulting)
• PMP Certifications or Program Management Certifications
• Lean/Six Sigma Certifications
• Master’s Degree
• Experience managing vendor integrations and external technology partnerships
• Experience in a fast-paced operations environment
• Experience using data to improve programs

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations/projects, including project plan creation and stakeholder engagement
• Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams and mitigate edge cases to ensure on-time completion
• Evaluate departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing data and developing metrics
• Collaborate with partner groups to develop proactive implementation, communications and program strategies
• May oversee team members and mentor colleagues; ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Job description

• The Manager, Strategic Planning works cross functionally with internal and external Oscar team members and representing the needs and interests of the department in company wide programs
• You will report into the Associate Director, Strategic Planning
• Leads the end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations/projects, including project plan creation, stakeholder engagement, managing cross-functional relationships to drive collaboration, edge case mitigation and on-time completion
• Evaluate overall departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing data and assisting in development of departmental metrics and implementation of mitigation strategies
• Collaboratively works with all relevant partner groups to create proactive implementation, communications and program strategies for successful change management and risk mitigation programs
• May oversee team members directly and mentors team members and promotes colleagues’ growth
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other responsibilities as assigned
