Overview

Join Vonage and help us innovate cloud communications for businesses worldwide. The API business unit focuses on API/CPaaS solutions enabling a customizable, omnichannel communications infrastructure. With easy-to-use APIs, a global platform, and expert support, customers can engage in ongoing conversations across channels.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Outbound Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to exceed goals, objectives, and monthly/annual quotas.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, motivate, and mentor the team.
  • Ensure effective use of Salesforce, sales engagement platforms, and other prospecting tools.
  • Compile weekly/monthly team metrics and create best practices for fast-growing teams; report results to management.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to review qualification approaches and maximize opportunities.
  • Improve Sales Development resources to support Vonage’s market presence.
  • Forecast and assess opportunity pipelines accurately.
  • Foster a strong team culture and drive ongoing success with innovative strategies.
  • Work with Sales Leadership to ensure a positive, collaborative environment and maximize Outbound SDR effectiveness.
  • Identify training needs and develop subsequent plans.
What you’ll bring

Required:

  • Proven track record managing and growing Sales Development or Inside Sales teams in a fast-growth technology environment.
  • Experience developing and running sales campaigns.
  • Experience analyzing data and performance metrics; ability to clarify expectations and guide daily activities; strong business acumen to interpret data and take action.
  • Proven Sales Leadership experience with a track record of success in Sales or Sales Development roles.
  • Ability to provide consistent feedback, set clear goals, and facilitate ongoing training.
  • Excellent communication and expectation-setting skills with all levels of management and internal partners (sales, marketing, product marketing).
  • Proven ability to establish and exceed measurable goals in a fast-paced environment.

What we consider a plus:

  • Understanding and experience selling SaaS solutions; experience with API/CPaaS is a plus.
  • College degree or equivalent preferred.
