Job summary

Terabase Energy, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Project Scheduling to lead a globally distributed team within the Project Controls unit.

You will own the Integrated Master Schedule for multiple customer projects, work with Project Delivery to ensure realistic timelines, and drive improvements in scheduling accuracy and efficiency. You will partner with engineering, procurement, and operations, fostering rigorous project controls and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, energy, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency with scheduling platforms such as Primavera P6 or MS Project and IMS/IMP and EVM tools.
• Advanced understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) tools and ability to lead implementation.
• 5+ years' experience in project controls, scheduling, or planning in solar or related industry.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience building, scaling, and leading distributed teams across time zones.
• Willing to work in Hybrid (Home/Office) setup; travel up to 20%.

Job Description

As the Manager of Project Scheduling within the Project Controls business unit, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Project Controls and build, scale, and lead a globally distributed team of Project Schedulers and planners. Partnering closely with Project Delivery, your team will own the schedules for multiple simultaneous customer projects at every stage of the production and deployment cycle, ensuring timelines are realistic, resources are effectively allocated, and risks are identified and managed early.

You will own the Integrated Master Schedule for each project and the program-level Integrated Master Plan that provides visibility into critical paths, resource constraints, and milestone sub-tasks, as well as the manufacturing production schedules and weekly production reports that keep equipment deliveries on track. You will also drive continuous improvement in scheduling accuracy, reporting, and operational efficiency across projects, holding your team to a high standard of rigor and professionalism with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Schedule Development & Management

• Prepare, develop, and coordinate the integrated master plan and integrated master schedules to ensure successful execution across each project and program objectives
• Ensure all project schedules and the master Program schedule are integrated across all business unit functions including product engineering, procurement, quality, commissioning & warranty, and operations
• Manage all project schedules, perform risk analysis, and identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts
• Implement and maintain Earned Value Management and other project management techniques to manage and assess progress to identify performance variances and facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
• Implement and maintain Estimate At Complete (EAC) forecasting process and tool to enable resource planning across projects and conduct regular cost variance reviews to assess project financial health and funding status

Team Leadership & Management

• Management and oversight of a team of US and international team members comprised of Project Schedulers including task and resource management, project and task prioritization, performance management, and compensation reviews
• Lead and mentor the scheduling team by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure team effectiveness
• Collaborate with the business unit leadership team to develop and implement team goals and key initiatives and manage day-to-day operational needs with larger, strategic objectives to advance the product and service offerings

Process Improvement

• Identify and address gaps in processes and procedures, resulting in improved, streamlined workflows
• Collaborate with other departments on operational requirements needed to meet customer deliverables and departmental priorities

Reporting & Management of KPIs

• Monitor and track performance and health for each project for both Cost and Schedule Performance indices (CPI and SPI, respectively) and develop regular reports highlighting root causes of performance variances
• Provide support for the management of key performance indicators (KPIs) across the business unit providing objective measurement and continuous improvement of project operations

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, energy, or related field
• Advanced proficiency with scheduling platforms such as Primavera P6 or MS Project and detailed development experience of an IMS, IMP, and EVM tools
• Advanced understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) tools and best practices and ability to set up and lead the implementation
• 5+ years' experience in project controls, scheduling, or planning within the solar or renewable energy industry, heavy construction, aerospace, or similar industry
• Advanced or expert skill level in MS Suite of software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience building, scaling, and leading distributed teams, including international team members across multiple time zones.
• Willing to work in Hybrid (Home/Office) setup and work with minimal supervision.
• Travel up to 20% of the time, primarily to the Company's headquarters in Northern California, with occasional international travel to support distributed team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, PgMP, or similar.
• Master's degree in operations, business, energy, or related field.
• Experience working with Cora Systems PPM software or similar PPM platforms
• Proficiency in complementary project management and CRM tools such as Salesforce, etc.

Compensation And Benefits

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This role offers a base salary of $120,000 - $150,000. Within each posted range, individual pay is determined (and may be greater or higher), dependent on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
