Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Manager of Progressive Care Neuro to lead patient care initiatives and drive improvements in outcomes. This role emphasizes collaboration with nursing leadership and hospital councils to shape decisions that advance the nursing profession.

You will coordinate care by developing goals and plans, review policies, and educate patients, families and staff while fostering strong physician relationships. RN licensure with leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required or obtained within 90 days of hire (compact licensure accepted).
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• 1–3 years nursing leadership experience required; 3–5 years preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Coordinates and assists in the successful care of the patient by developing long term and short-term goals, implementing plans. Review/revise policies and procedures as necessary. Provide education to patients, family and staff as needed. Facilitates relationships with physicians.

What qualifications you will need:

• 2-year Associates Degree Required
• 4-year Bachelor Degree preferred
• FL RN Licensure required or obtained within 90 days of hire if licensed with applicable RN Compact Licensure.
• BLS
• ACLS (within 90 days of hire/transfer)
• NIH (within 90 days of hire/transfer)
• Specialty certification in field of expertise (obtain within 90 days of hire/transfer)
• 1 – 3 years of nursing leadership experience required
• 3 – 5 years of nursing leadership experience preferred
