We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager of Product to lead our Digital Connections product, which enables prospects to connect with financial advisors and services that meet their needs. This high-impact role requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams—including design, engineering, research, analytics, integration, and business partners—to drive outcomes and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in product management and leadership, motivated by solving complex challenges in a dynamic environment.

A Manager of Product manages the product team responsible for one or more complex products, combining product management skills with leadership. They are responsible for the long-term strategy, vision, and performance of their products and team members.

This role is critical for Thrivent’s operating model product teams, leading discovery efforts and improving product performance through effective delivery of enhancements, marketing, and stakeholder collaboration to optimize user experience.

Typically, the Manager of Product has deep product management experience and aspires to manage both products and people, directly supervising 1-4 product owners.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute long-term product roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
• Lead team collaboration on product releases and prioritization.
• Resolve conflicts constructively and ensure teams understand business outcomes.
• Track performance metrics and focus on measurable improvements.
• Engage with customers to uncover needs and refine solutions.
• Research industry trends and best practices.
• Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in relevant business roles, including product management.
• Understanding of iterative development and Agile principles.
• Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.

Preferred:

• Certified Product Manager or similar certification.
• Experience in content management, data, A/B testing, and digital products.
• Supervisory experience and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
• Proficiency with product management tools and user interface design.

Pay range: $143,557 - $194,224 annually, depending on location and experience.
