Job description

Join to apply for the Manager of Procurement - Box Parts role at Les Schwab Tire Centers.

This position reports to the Director of Parts, Services and Pricing Operations and is responsible for leading strategic and operational plans, managing execution, measuring results, and holding partners accountable. The role involves establishing measurable goals, aligning stakeholders, and managing business processes to support company objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Engagement/Relationship: Build and manage strategic partnerships, report issues, develop engagement cadence, and negotiate resolutions.
  • Supplier Metrics: Manage the Supplier Scorecard, monitor performance, and leverage metrics for negotiations and strategic decisions.
  • Leadership: Guide and inspire the procurement team, manage staffing, and foster growth opportunities.
  • Sourcing Strategy: Evaluate sourcing options, conduct supplier evaluations, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Contractual Agreements: Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to secure favorable terms.
  • Other: Optimize workflows, implement new software, and lead various projects.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field; MBA preferred. CPPM certification preferred.
  • 10+ years experience in procurement, sourcing, and negotiations, preferably in retail tire and automotive industry.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. APICS certification preferred.
Physical and Work Environment:

Sedentary position, with occasional lifting up to 100lbs, and travel to suppliers. Work is primarily office-based with some remote work options.
