Job Schedule: Exempt, Full-Time

We are seeking a Manager of People Operations Administration to join our People Operations team, committed to supporting employees. As a Manager of People Operations Administration, you will support the SVP, Chief People & Internal Communications Officer, and VP, People Operations, in daily activities that support overall People Operations functions. Join our team and help bring hope to others!

What you'll do:

  • Maintain calendars for the SVP, Chief People & Internal Communications Officer, and the VP, People Operations, including tracking appointments.
  • Coordinate meetings, including arranging space, meals, transportation, invitations, agendas, documents, travel, and lodging.
  • Develop and maintain departmental calendars for the People Operations and Internal Communications teams.
  • Handle communications with internal and external stakeholders, and meet regularly with leadership to discuss activities and follow-ups.
  • Serve as a liaison between leadership and team members.
  • Exercise discretion in managing issues and communications, making independent decisions as needed.
  • Prepare presentations supporting leadership.
  • Manage administrative and event planning for team events, retreats, and special functions like the Leadership Retreat and Gathering awards.
  • Manage and update the People Operations SharePoint page.
  • Oversee vendor negotiations and arrangements for events, ensuring contractual and performance standards are met.
  • Prepare and process invoices and expense reports accurately and timely.
  • Manage procurement tasks, including equipment and supplies, maintaining fiscal responsibility.
  • Organize domestic and international travel for leadership.
  • Review and process mail, emails, and other correspondence efficiently.

What you’ll bring:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of related experience, including working with senior leaders.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of and commitment to Christian principles, as Buckner is a faith-based organization.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, walking, standing, sitting, and travel.
