Essential Duties
Supervision and Management:

Responsible for 2nd shift events and custodial support services, payroll management, departmental standard operation procedures, and university policies.
Conducts regular team meetings to discuss operational performance, safety protocols, and schedules to meet changing business needs. Assigns and adjusts work tasks.
Communicates facility and equipment repairs and needs with the Operations team; enter work orders for immediate needs.
Coordinates concentrated direct training and provides support and guidance to staff.
Inspects work in progress and at completion to ensure that custodial and event standards and safety are maintained.
Oversees product dispersion and inventory
Performs administrative activities related to personnel management, including hiring, evaluating, coaching and developing all staff. Interacts with management team to foster a cohesive three-shift coverage group.

Operations:

Responsible for all operational aspects of the Shriver Center. Fosters strong customer service culture in all other areas of support.
Event oversight, technical support and management in Shriver Center, Marcum Hotel and Conference Center , Sesquicentennial Chapel, and Kumler Chapel, with support service to Hall Auditorium, Millett Hall and Yager Stadium.
Provide technical support in emergency equipment operation and failure situations as needed on a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week basis.
Evaluate existing and new operating strategies to ensure optimum efficiency and reliability.
Perform continuous monitoring of equipment to meet operational expectations.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) for equipment operation and maintenance.
Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance activities.


Documentation and Reporting:

Develop, maintain, and analyze trends and historical data to effectively identify and correct system abnormalities to mitigate failures.
Maintain operating data and reporting logs.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in related field with experience in medium/large support services staff/facility management OR
Associate's degree in related field with two (2) years of experience in medium/large support services staff/facility management OR
Four (4) years of verifiable event production experience with medium/large support services staff & facility management
A valid driver’s license is required
