Carrier Enterprise in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Manager of Operations to supervise hub daily operations, drive efficiency, safety, and cost control across our HVAC distribution network. This role emphasizes Lean practices, KPI development, and strong leadership of warehouse staff.

You will partner with HR and finance to plan budgets, coordinate inbound/outbound service, and coach managers to achieve productivity, quality, and service goals in a fast-paced, growing company.

Formación

• 5+ years of progressive experience managing operations in a business environment.
• AA/AS degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and work calmly under pressure.
• Willingness to travel and operate a forklift (certification preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Implements and directs hub safety programs and warehouse operational practices
• Conducts annual transportation cost analyses and takes corrective actions
• Conducts with the Ops team inventory control procedures, including reconciling inventory accounts, coordinating inventory returns and repairs, and assisting in product cycle counting
• Analyzes reports to identify potential operational deficiencies and take corrective actions
• Defines service standards and KPI’s for hub operations
• Helps Hubs Coordinate employee work assignments to achieve inbound and outbound service requirements
• Trains and Coaches Hub Managers on Monitoring workflow and related metrics
• Ensures procedures are observed, implemented and enforced

The Area Operations Manager has the primary responsibility for supervising the daily operations of the Hub locations and developing a productive, profitable and achievement-oriented working environment for employees. Address operational issues and concerns in a timely fashion.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implements and directs hub safety programs and warehouse operational practices
• Conducts annual transportation cost analyses and takes corrective actions
• Conducts with the Ops team inventory control procedures, including reconciling inventory accounts, coordinating inventory returns and repairs, and assisting in product cycle counting
• Conducts hub management meetings to communicate information and resolve problems
• Analyzes reports to identify potential operational deficiencies and take corrective actions
• Analyzes customer feedback procedures and develops methods to improve service quality using metrics.
• Implements and ensures consistent compliance with standard operating procedures, policies, internal audit controls, Sarbanes-Oxley controls and business management quality system requirements
• Utilizes LEAN methodologies to develop and implement action plans to correct problem areas and optimize established levels of business performance objectives, service, productivity, and quality.
• Define service standards and KPI’s for hub operations
• Contributes to preparation of branch annual budget, including forecast of capital expenditures.
• Helps Hubs Coordinate employee work assignments to achieve inbound and outbound service requirements
• Directs achievement of performance objectives related to productivity, quality, service and safety
• Trains and Coaches Hub Managers on Monitoring workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and take corrective action.
• Ensures procedures are observed, implemented and enforced
• Ensures warehouse employees receive training
• Maintains positive employee relations and morale
• Assists in developing and documenting warehouse processes
• With assistance from Human Resources, carries out performance management actions, including hiring, firing, discipline and setting of pay rates for employees

• Must be team-oriented and have good interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have good analytical, problem solving, and organizational abilities
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and work calmly under pressure.
• Exhibits the ability to work well with others and maintain organization between cross-related departments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to travel
• Must be able to operate a forklift; prior forklift certification preferred.
• Knowledge of the industry and market trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong business acumen
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• An eye for attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional analytical skills to sift through high volumes of data and information
