The Manager of Nursingis responsible foroverseeing nursing servicesforBehavioral HealthClinic,MAT – Medication-Assisted Treatment(MAT) Clinicand Integrated Health Care (IHC).This role provides operational and clinical oversight of nursing staff performance while ensuring high-quality, compliant, and consistent nursing practices across the organization. The Manager of Nursing supports nursing staff through supervision, coaching, policy implementation, and quality assurance activities, and works collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders to support safe, effective, and consumer-centered care
Oversee daily nursing operations across allClinicsand programs to ensure safe, effective, andtimelynursing care.
Ensure nursing practice aligns with evidence-based standards, organizational policies, and state and federal regulations.
Monitor consumer care activities, acuity levels, and treatment plans to ensureappropriate nursinginterventions.
Provideclinical guidance and support to nursing staff in addressing complex care needs and clinical decision-making.
Promote consumer safety practices, including infection prevention, medication management, and risk-reduction strategies.
Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, MAs, and other clinical support personnel.
Ensureappropriate delegationof duties based on scope of practice and licensure requirements.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and address performance concerns in collaboration with Human Resources.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, staffing assignments, and scheduling for nursing staff.
Foster a collaborative and accountable work environment that supports teamwork and professional growth.
Develop,maintain, and implement nursing policies and procedures consistent with standards of nursing practice, organizational philosophy, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor incident reports, complaints, and unusual occurrences; ensuretimelyreview andappropriate resolution.
Coordinate andparticipatein quality assurance activities, including clinical reviews, audits, and corrective action planning.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., state nursing regulations, CMS, Joint Commission).
Monitordocumentationquality, medication administration practices, and adherence to clinical standards.
Monitor key clinical indicators, nursing productivity, and operational metrics.
Use data toidentifytrends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Report nursing performance, quality indicators, and compliance updates to leadership on a regular basis.
Participate in strategic planning and initiatives related to nursing services and clinical operations.
Develop and manage nursing staffing plans, workflows, and resource allocation to meet clinical needs.
Ensureappropriate nursingcoverage across all locations and respond to urgent staffing issues.
Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to ensure consistency in nursing operations across sites.
Support budgeting, inventory management, and procurement of nursing supplies and equipment.
Identifytraining needs and coordinate onboarding and ongoing education for nursing staff.
Promote evidence-based practice,skillscompetency, and maintenance of licensure and certifications.
Provide coaching and mentorship to support leadership development within the nursing team.
Address consumer or family concerns related to nursing services ina timelyand professional manner.
Promote compassionate, culturally responsive, and consumer-centered care.
Support consumer education and engagement in care planning.
Responsible for attending all mandatory in-services, continuingeducationand annual health requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related healthcare field preferred; an equivalent combination of relevant nursing leadership experience may be considered
Active, unrestricted RN licenserequired
Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing experience, including supervisory or management responsibility, preferably in behavioral health or integrated care settings
Valid Tennessee Driver’s License
