What does a Manager of National Account Services Sr. – Strategy & Business Development do at Rinnai?

Our NA Services business delivers comprehensive solutions including emergency response, planned repairs, maintenance, audits, and equipment monitoring to our commercial customers. This position leads the National Accounts Strategy and Business Development initiatives, playing a critical role in both shaping and driving the strategic direction of the business. The role is responsible for developing and implementing processes, strategies, and key performance indicators to align with and exceed our customers' expectations. The ultimate goal is to deliver a world-class customer experience while ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective fulfillment of all service needs.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Accountable for achieving revenue growth and margin targets for the National Account Service Operations business.
  • Responsible for managing the Commercial Analyst team
  • Responsible for the development and formalization of all NA operating processes and procedures.
  • Audit, document, and improve high-risk or undocumented business processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop, plan, and execute strategic initiatives to meet defined sales and operational KPIs.
  • Design and implement initiatives that drive revenue growth, increase efficiency, and maximize profitability.
  • Prepare accurate monthly and annual forecasts for the Services business to support strategic planning and performance tracking.
  • Manage contractor licensing and relationships.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to enhance service-related sales reporting and refine KPIs.
  • Provide strategic leadership to Sales and Operations teams, aligning business plans with corporate objectives, sales development goals, and budget targets.
  • Engage with National Account customers to review performance metrics and identify opportunities for incremental and strategic growth.
  • Deliver detailed analysis on service trends, pricing changes, and emerging opportunities within the National Account segment.
  • Collaborate on long-term strategies to grow revenue and strengthen relationships with National Account customers.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure consistent and effective process implementation.
  • Coordinate with Regional Sales teams to monitor and drive performance against KPIs by region.
  • Lead or contribute to various strategic projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years performing similar duties as mentioned above
  • 3+ years leading remote or in-house technical teams
  • Professional trade experience strongly preferred (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical)
  • Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency with CMMS platforms
  • Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Experience in process & procedure development and technology application
