Our client is looking for a Manager of Membership Growth and Retention.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a sports and entertainment organization, and ready to grow their membership subscriptions!
This Role Is
The Ideal Candidate
- Ideally 4+ years of experience in the Membership Subscription industry. You have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategies to grow and retain membership subscriptions, ideally with in sports or entertainment industries.
- Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze membership data, evaluate effectiveness of acquisition and retention strategies, and make data-driven decisions
- Experience working with external vendors (i.e. brand partnerships, agencies of record), are essential
- Innovative mindset. They are looking for someone who can think outside the box and develop new initiatives to enhance member benefits and engagement
- Loyalty marketing and/or affiliate marketing experience - someone that understands causation and correlation
- Familiar with the volleyball industry is a huge plus, as it will help create targeted campaigns that resonate with their audience.
As their Manager of Membership Growth and Retention, you will have a range of responsibilities that are focused on growing and retaining membership subscriptions.
Here Are Some Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement acquisition strategies: this includes creating and executing plans to attract new members through various channels such as brand partnerships, email marketing campaigns, and events campaigns.
- A key part of your role will be building and maintaining brand partnerships, media partnerships, and working with their agency of record! You will be apart of the new partnership identification process, and working with key brand partners and their agency on sponsorship deals, etc.
- Manage membership renewal process: ensure that existing members renew their membership through effective retention strategies and enhancing member benefits
- Work closely with internal team members to align with membership growth strategies, and ensure a seamless member experience
- Analyze membership data: monitor and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of acquisition and retention strategies and make adjustments / optimize as needed
