Key Responsibilities of the Manager of Financial Reporting
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Oversee financial reporting across multiple legal entities and international operations
- Prepare and review audited financial statement disclosures
- Support accounting for revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, consolidations, debt, related-party transactions, and segment reporting
- Coordinate the external audit process, including audit requests, supporting documentation, and timelines
- Research complex accounting matters and prepare technical accounting memoranda
- Partner with accounting and finance teams across global operations to standardize close procedures and reporting practices
- Strengthen intercompany accounting and promote consistent application of accounting policies
- Support improvements to financial reporting processes, internal controls, accuracy, and efficiency
- Collaborate with leadership on significant accounting and reporting matters
Qualifications For The Manager Of Financial Reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- CPA strongly preferred
- Progressive experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, audit, or corporate accounting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements within a multi-entity and/or multinational organization
- Experience coordinating external audits and working directly with independent audit firms
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805, and ASC 810
- Experience researching complex accounting matters and documenting accounting conclusions
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
