The Hill seeks a Manager, Event Programming to craft and produce compelling thought leadership discussions for its growing events portfolio. • Create content plans for policy briefings, roundtables and Summits, providing well-researched speaker suggestions and thematic summaries.
• Book guests and/or recruit participants for events on a wide range of topics in the domestic and global policy and advocacy sphere, maintaining a rolodex of experts across sectors.
• Work with internal and external partners to meet deadlines and communicate updates in a collaborative environment.
• Conduct preparation call and draft briefing materials for event moderators and speakers.
• Manage coordination with speaker contacts and ensure alignment with event objectives and timing.
• Produce on-site program and any necessary elements related to the content and promotion of the speakers.
• Write copy for invitations, microsites, summaries of discussion topics, and copy edit others' work related to event content.
• Ability to edit video and produce social assets is a plus.

Ideal candidates should have 5+ years' experience with booking guests and segment production in television, events, or similar formats.

Salary Range

$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 based upon experience
