Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full-time Manager of Nursing for the Deckerville Community Hospital. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of services.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years acute care nursing experience (ER, OR, and/or Med/Surg).
- Strong leadership skills in clinical practice, team-building, and decision-making.
- Demonstrated awareness of legal and regulatory issues, patient rights, and confidentiality policies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff.
- Competency in basic clinical evaluation across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), database management, and electronic health records.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. (Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred)
- Current RN license in MI.
- Current certifications: CPR, ACLS (required); PALS/ENPC, TNCC or CALS, (required, must be obtained in 1 year).
Responsibilities: The Nurse Manager oversees the daily clinical and administrative operations of the Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical Unit, and Surgical Services. This role includes leadership in patient care delivery, staffing, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The Nurse Manager ensures that care standards are met while fostering an environment of continuous improvement, safety, and professional development. This position plays a key role in achieving institutional goals related to patient satisfaction, outcomes, and operational efficiency.
