Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking an experienced Commercial Controls Manager to support and train commercial contractors on Carrier i-Vu controls. The role focuses on submittals, start-up assistance, troubleshooting, and customer-facing support across the Houston region.

The ideal candidate has an undergraduate technical degree and at least five years of HVAC system controls experience, with strong communication and remote support skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC systems Controls support.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficiency in using remote support tools and software to diagnose and resolve customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary resource for customers to answer controls questions.
• Assist in operating the Certified Controls Expert Contractor Programs.
• Maintain certification documentation and establish training/testing requirements.
• Assist in conducting training for sales and installation of Carrier controls systems for dealers.
• Grow Carrier Commercial Controls presence in the region.
• Travel to provide support to controls dealers.

SUMMARY

The Manager of Controls willassistand train commercial contractors with Carrieri-Vu controls. Thisposition will be expected to draw up submittals,assistincontrolsstart-up, support and trouble shooti-Vucontrols system when called upon by our clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a primary resource for our customers to answercontrolsquestions.
• Assistinoperatingthe existing Certified Controls Expert Contractor Programs.
• Maintain Technician Certification documentation andestablishtraining & testing requirements.
• Assistin conducting training classes for the sales & installation of Carriercontrolssystems fordealers.
• Attract elite contractor memberships in the Factory Controls Authorization Program.
• Supports roll out newcontrolsproducts to the Controls Expert dealers.
• Grow the Carrier Commercial Controls presence in the assigned Carrier Enterprise region(s).
• Manage the interface between the factory and our customers.
• Travel throughout the assigned region(s) to provide support to Carrier controls dealers.

Requirements

• An undergraduate degree intechnicaldiscipline
• 5years ofExperienceinHVAC Systems Controls support.

• Proven experience in HVAC systems Controls support.

• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on new HVAC technologies, products, andindustry trends.
