Job summary

The Construction Manager at European Wax Center in Plano, TX will lead franchisee and corporate projects through all construction stages—from plan review to opening—ensuring brand standards and timely completions.

You’ll coordinate with franchisees, general contractors and vendors, report progress in FranConnect, and work with Operations/Development to align market strategies while delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of franchise construction project management experience.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects with urgency and follow-through.

About the Role

The Construction Manager will interface with franchisees, general contractors, and vendors to uphold brand standards and ensure timely openings. This role will enhance the real estate development process by generating and reporting on construction status progress reports, resolving any reported difficulties, and correcting other reported deficiencies. This person will take a proactive approach to advising on any necessary modifications to create efficiencies in the new center development and remodel process.

A Day in the Life

• Lead franchisee and corporately developed new store/relocation/remodel projects through all aspects of construction including initial plan review, vendor selection, permitting, build-out, and opening.
• Act as project manager for all new centers/relocations/remodels providing timely updates and projections using the FranConnect application.
• Work with the Operations and Development teams to manage the regional market strategy for new centers, relocations, and remodels.
• Manage all company supplied vendors and ensure performance and delivery of company responsible items and schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, supply chain, and marketing; ensuring activities are scheduled and completed on time by internal stakeholders, franchisees, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with franchisees.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of franchise construction project management experience.
• Strong computer skills required: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and timelines with a sense of urgency and follow-through.
