Manager of Compensation and Talent Acquisition

Compensation Manager

General Summary:

The Manager of Compensation and Talent Acquisition is responsible foradministering the Network compensation and other HR related programs. Provides guidance regarding all compensation related processes, policies and procedures. Works with all departments as necessary to provide compensation support and analysis to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Participates in competitive market surveys and annual salary structure adjustment. Oversees the annual performance merit increase process by analyzing performance evaluations, aligning recommendations with compensation guidelines. Develops, implements and maintains tools to track, analyze, report and document information pertinent to compensation systems management. Oversees all recruitment activities to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures. This includes ensuring all job requisitions are properly approved and processed in accordance with the guidelines established. Managing both internal job posting programs and external recruitment efforts. Leading and coordinating all aspects of the recruiting process, including scheduling interviews and administering the selection process. Verifying that all candidate applications and documentation are completed and accurate. Coordinates temporary agency staffing services as needed to meet departmental needs. Responsible for individual and departmental staff compliance with all Network programs and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
  • Administers Network compensation and other HR related programs. Provides guidance regarding all compensation related processes, policies and procedures. Works with all departments as necessary to provide compensation, support and analysis to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Participates in competitive market surveys and annual salary structure adjustment. Develops, implements and maintains tools to track, analyze, report and document information pertinent to compensation systems management. Responds to requests regarding employee compensation.
  • Oversees the annual performance merit increase process by analyzing performance evaluations, aligning recommendations with compensation guidelines
  • Ensures the accuracy and integrity of compensation data within the HRIS system, facilitating reliable and timely access to information for management review and decision-making.
  • Ensures regular maintenance of job descriptions as necessary. Collaborates with managers on job description analysis, development and administers review to ensure accuracy of HR and FLSA requirements.
  • Maintains confidential employee personnel files in an organized manner within all required organizational, federal and state guidelines. Retains required records.
  • Manages team members to achieve departmental and organizational objectives by setting clear expectations, monitoring progress, and providing regular, constructive job performance feedback to support growth and accountability
  • Manages both internal job posting programs and external recruitment efforts.   • Develops and executes new programs and strategies to attract top talent, including targeted outreach initiatives, employer branding efforts, and community engagement.
  • Partners with managers to design, refine, and execute creative recruitment strategies for high-visibility and hard-to-fill roles, including candidate sourcing, pre-qualification screening, and strategy development.
  • Oversees new employee processing in partnership with the Human Resources team and collaborates closely with the hiring manager regarding the selected candidate.
  • Oversees and hosts internal recruitment events while representing the organization at key external forums, including career fairs, virtual job fairs, and community networking events to enhance talent acquisition efforts.
  • Evaluates and enhances recruitment processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience, leveraging technology and analytics.
  • Provides the executive team with timely updates and comprehensive reports on recruitment progress, key metrics, and hiring trends to support strategic workforce planning and informed decision-making.
  • Manages the tracking and analysis of employee and applicant data, delivering strategic insights and reports as requested to inform executive decision-making and optimize talent management.
  • Manages the recruitment event budget to optimize resource allocation and support strategic talent acquisition initiatives
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with educational institutions to ensure a consistent and robust pipeline of emerging talent.
  • Develops and oversees the intern program, including coordination of intern orientations, monitoring intern performance and job contributions, and ensuring a meaningful learning experience.
  • Oversees the scheduling, setup, and execution of organizational and classroom orientation programs to ensure a smooth and effective onboarding experience
  • Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Experience in compensation analysisrequired.
  • 5 to 7 years of HR and Recruitment experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws, compensation strategies, and HR policies required.
  • Knowledge of HRIS/ ADP WFN preferred.

Pay Range:

This salary range is based on our market pay structures. Individual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to business needs, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, licenses, certifications, education, and experience.
