Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced audit and accounting professional to join our team as a Manager of Audit and Accounting Services. This leadership role is critical to maintaining the high level of service our clients expect and contributing to the continued growth of our firm.

This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, extensive QuickBooks experience, audit engagement management expertise, and a commitment to outstanding client service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Audit and Review Engagements

• Manage audit and review engagements from planning through completion.
• Ensure engagements are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with professional standards.
• Train, mentor, and supervise staff members.

Accounting and Bookkeeping Services/QuickBooks Expertise

• Perform and oversee full-service accounting and bookkeeping functions for clients.
• Review and ensure accuracy of accounting records and financial reports.
• Assist clients with maintaining and optimizing QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online records.
• Ensure client accounting data is accurate, organized, and efficiently maintained.
• Provide guidance to clients regarding accounting procedures and best practices.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Provide meaningful insights into clients' financial performance and position.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Identify client needs and provide proactive accounting and business solutions.

Other

• Travel periodically to client locations throughout the greater Houston area.
• Deliver personalized service and develop strong client relationships.
• Participate in networking, marketing, and business development initiatives.
• Support efforts to expand the firm's client base and service offerings.
• Assist with client billing, invoicing, and collections activities.
• Support the firm's financial administration processes.
