Responsible for planning and implementing strategies to drive philanthropic revenue to the Methodist Healthcare Foundation, including management of the annual giving program, stewardship program, and direct cultivation and solicitation of mid-level and lower-level individual donors. A Brief Overview

Responsible for planning and implementing strategies to drive philanthropic revenue to the Methodist Healthcare Foundation, including management of the annual giving program, stewardship program, and direct cultivation and solicitation of mid-level and lower-level individual donors. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in The Methodist Mission, Vision, and Values.

What you will do
  • Plan and execute the Foundation’s annual giving program, including campaigns, appeals, donor retention and elevation strategies, and the development of donor giving societies.
  • Support fundraising efforts through stewardship strategies to strengthen donor relationships.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward low- to mid-level prospects and donors, focusing on individuals.
  • Collaborate with team members to align strategies with other priorities such as planned giving, major gifts, and events.
  • Communicate effectively within and outside the department to share resources and ideas.
Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Non-profit Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
Experience Qualifications
  • 3-5 years in marketing, communications, or non-profit fundraising, emphasizing writing and communication skills.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of annual giving strategies and electronic/mailed appeals.
  • Ability to collaborate and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in donor solicitation and relationship building.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Licenses and Certifications
  • CFRE preferred.
Supervision Provided
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
  • Light physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and occasional travel.
