Job summary

NLP PEOPLE is seeking a highly skilled AI Professional to lead transformative initiatives in Data and AI in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Data Analysis, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

This role demands collaboration with various stakeholders to develop innovative AI-driven solutions and to deploy machine learning models into production. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required, alongside involvement in agentic architectures and conversational AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to conceive innovative solutions for new system implementations and enhancements to existing applications, while ensuring adherence to programming standards.
• Develop specifications, formulate test plans, and manage projects within the assigned scope of work.
• Design and build solutions leveraging AI services and machine learning models tailored to unique use cases, utilizing state‑of‑the‑art methodologies.
• Utilize advanced machine learning and AI techniques to uncover valuable insights from complex datasets and resolve intricate challenges.
• Deploy trained models into production environments to ensure scalability, reliability, and peak performance, adapting to integrate effortlessly with existing systems and applications.
• Craft and implement multi‑agent architectures that enhance client workflows.
• Travel may be necessary for this role, ranging from 0% to 100% based on business demands and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of extensive experience in Data Analysis, Statistics, Machine Learning, or Computer Science.
• At least 5 years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or demonstrated expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Minimum 5 years utilizing AI/ML and cognitive services from at least one cloud service provider.
• Experience (minimum 1 year) in designing, building, or implementing Agentic Architectures.
• At least 1 year in developing Conversational AI applications using cloud services and orchestrating AI/ML services for comprehensive solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 12 years) is required (must have at least 6 years of experience if holding an Associate’s Degree).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing and leading Generative AI/Agentic delivery across organizations.
• In‑depth industry knowledge and experience in designing industry‑specific AI solutions.
• Experience building out AI infrastructure and optimizing performance.
• Background in consulting/advisory roles with a strong history of experimenting with emerging technologies.
