What You Will Do In Your Role
  • Assist the Director with department activities to ensure coordination and fulfillment of responsibilities aligned with the hospital’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Coordinate the department’s participation in Performance Improvement activities to ensure continuous Quality Improvement.
  • Ensure nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluate its effectiveness regularly.
  • Provide clinical support to the nursing staff.
What Qualifications You Will Need
  • 2+ years of recent (within the last year) acute care leadership experience in Med-Surg.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License must obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire).
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
