Job description

Overview

This 401(k) Prosperity® division is seeking a driven, strategic, and entrepreneurial leader to become our Manager of 401(k) Retirement Plan Services. You’ll play a dual role—helping serve our current clients while building the future of our retirement plan practice by helping develop new client relationships.

This isn’t a career for someone looking to coast. It’s for the doers—the ones who want to grow something real, earn meaningful equity in their success, and shape a business they can be proud of.

You’ll enjoy competitive compensation, gain-sharing, and origination bonuses. More importantly, you’ll have the autonomy and support to build a thriving department—alongside a passionate team that believes in doing what’s right, not what’s easy.

Where We Work

We proudly serve high-net-worth families and business owners across Northeast Ohio and nationwide. Based in Cleveland—“the rock capital of the world”—our firm has deep roots in the community and a progressive culture that supports growth, family, community service, and lifelong learning.

How You’ll Contribute
  • Lead and grow our 401(k) division while actively serving a select group of existing plan sponsor clients.
  • Build strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers—and bring in new plan clients.
  • Guide clients on plan design, fiduciary oversight, investment selection, participant engagement compliance, and governance.
  • Conduct periodic client reviews, communicate evolving ERISA and DOL regulations, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategy, business development, operational efficiency, and branding.
  • Maintain your industry certifications and our firm’s CEFEX® certification.
  • Manage RFPs and plan benchmarking as needed.
  • Help create a culture of excellence and accountability in retirement plan consulting.

  • Series 7, 66, and insurance license (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
  • Bonus: CFP®, CPA, or advanced tax credentials

  • Knowledge of CEFEX standards
  • Understanding industry tools such as RPAG or equivalent
  • Proven ability to win business and build client relationships

  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and team-first mentality
  • Active involvement in your professional and local communities
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary based on experience with incentive-based organization bonuses and gain-sharing
  • Comprehensive benefits: healthcare, retirement, and paid education
  • One-on-one mentoring, professional development, and external coaching
