Qualifications

  • Associate degree with three additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  • Occupational Health nursing or healthcare leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience with OSHA, Joint Commission, CDC, and regulatory compliance programs preferred.
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S) preferred.

  • Leads departmental process improvement initiatives to improve operational effectiveness, employee experience, and regulatory compliance.

Position Summary

The Manager of Occupational Health provides operational, clinical, and strategic leadership for Occupational Health services at the ECU Health Medical Center. This position is responsible for oversight of the medical center's occupational health clinic, regulatory compliance, employee health surveillance, occupational injury prevention initiatives, and workers' compensation collaboration. The Manager leads departmental operations, staff development, quality outcomes, and process improvement initiatives while ensuring regulatory readiness and alignment with organizational priorities.

This role serves as a key operational partner to Human Resources, Infection Prevention and Control, Risk Management, Team Member Safety, Medical Affairs, Graduate Medical Education, and operational leadership to support a safe, compliant, and healthy workforce. The Manager may also provide direct Occupational Health nursing support as operationally needed.

Pay Range

$92206.40 - $134397.12
