Providence caregiver-focused position at Covenant Hobbs Hospital seeks a leader to plan, supervise and evaluate nursing care around the clock in the designated unit. The role collaborates with the Director of Nursing to ensure seamless patient care and continuity.

The successful candidate will bring RN licensure, a nursing degree, and several years of practice, with leadership skills to guide the team and maintain service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• New Mexico RN license upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire (American Heart Association).
• 3 years of professional nursing experience.
• 2 years of clinical experience in a specific area.

Responsabilités

• Plan, supervise and evaluate nursing care 24/7 for designated units.
• Oversee staff performance and unit management.

Description

Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, the performance of assigned staff, and unit management 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for designated clinical area(s). Works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care across the continuum. Minimal supervision required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

• Upon hire: New Mexico Registered Nurse License

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association

• 3 years of professional nursing experience

• 2 years of clinical experience in a specific clinical area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing

• Upon hire: ACLS and/or PALS

• Upon hire: Specialty certification related to practice

• 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
