Job summary

Providence Hobbs Hospital seeks a Nursing Leader to plan, supervise and evaluate 24/7 nursing care across designated clinical areas. This role partners with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care and staff performance, with minimal supervision.

The position is embedded in the Labor and Delivery Services department at Hobbs, NM. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, NM RN license, BLS certification, and several years of nursing and clinical leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Upon hire: New Mexico Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• 3 years of professional nursing experience.
• 2 years of clinical experience in a specific clinical area.

• Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, the performance of assigned staff, and unit management 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for designated clinical area(s).
• Works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care across the continuum.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Upon hire: New Mexico Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
• 3 years of professional nursing experience
• 2 years of clinical experience in a specific clinical area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Upon hire: ACLS and/or PALS
• Upon hire: Specialty certification related to practice
• 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
