Manager, Nurse Practitioner - Sacramento, CA - Hybrid Remote - Sign-on Bonus Included!

Join DaVita Kidney Care as a Manager, Nurse Practitioner in Sacramento, CA. This full-time role involves leading and managing nurse practitioners (NPs) within our integrated care team, with responsibilities including oversight, coaching, supervision, and onboarding to ensure quality, cost-effective care for CKD and ESKD patients. The position requires 25% in-field work and 10% overnight travel monthly.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of NPs, providing supervision, coaching, and clinical guidance.
2. Ensure NP productivity, documentation, diagnoses, and coding accuracy.
3. Support NP hiring and onboarding processes.
4. Collaborate with medical and operational leadership on clinical and operational strategies.
5. Manage complex cases and high-risk patient escalations.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of NP experience, preferably in population health, primary care, or nephrology.
• Master’s degree in Nursing and current license to practice in California.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• NP national credentialing and DEA license (or eligibility within 90 days).
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Additional Details

• Salary Range: $160,000 - $170,000.
• Sign-on/Retention Bonus: $10,000.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
