The Manager Nurse Practitioner, 100% Virtual, CareBridge is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient treatment of patients while managing multiple nurse practitioners.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

1. Oversees and manages Clinical Programs operations.
2. Provides resources and direction to Nurse Practitioners.
3. Performs physical examinations, preventive health measures, and follow-up visits within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions.
4. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and healthcare needs.
5. Discusses cases with physicians and formulates and documents care plans.
6. Prescribes medication or other treatments.
7. Reviews documentation to ensure compliance with best practices, protocols, and quality measures.
8. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requirements:

• MS in Nursing and minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Current unrestricted RN license and NP license in applicable state.
• Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test for Carelon Health business unit.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• At least 3 years of management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellence in data management and advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
