Job description

The Multimedia Manager, Games & Digital Platforms, will execute multiple projects across the Games & Digital Platforms business. The role primarily supports the Games and Digital Platforms creative strategy team but will also partner closely with team members across production, marketing, global franchise strategy, and brand creative. The successful Multimedia Manager will thrive in a best-in-class culture through exceptional teamwork and active engagement during creative, marketing, and production meetings to support the organization’s operational excellence and in executing multimedia presentations and activations to bring key initiatives to life. The role reports to the Sr. Director, Creative Strategy & Developer Relations.

Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 (bonus eligible)

    Qualifications

    ** Essential Responsibilities:**

    • Supports Games & Digital Platforms franchise strategy through active engagement with the senior leaders of the creative strategy, production, and brand marketing teams
    • Create and deliver world-class presentations, pitch documents, and “sizzle reels” based on Universal’s storied library of franchises and new game concepts
    • Improve, enhance, and refine existing pitch materials to best represent Universal brands and properties to the Games & Digital community
    • Work closely with brand creative and character art teams to source and maintain look books, style guides, and asset libraries to share with internal and external partners
    • Refine and manage slate strategy templates for the Games & Digital Platforms group
    • Assist in the creation of franchise game pillars and guidelines for Universal properties by participating in the ideation process to capture the most relevant ideas
    • Create, visualize, and maintain franchise guidelines for “leave behinds” for external game development partners
    • Create tone videos, sizzle reels, and present content to creative leaders of the organization
    • Work with UP&E team to deliver assets and presentations to represent the Games division at industry events
    • Stay current with industry tools, trends, and best practices in visual media production, design, and digital marketing to continuously improve content quality and efficiency
    • Support organization with the management and archiving process of presentations
    • Manage global presentation materials requests from various cross functional partners including multi-franchise and content-related requests
    • Prepare and update Keynote presentations to be used for meetings and other events
    • Additional duties as needed to meet business needs

    ** Basic Qualifications:**

    • 5+ years of professional work or equivalent experience, ideally in a creative presentation or multimedia development capacity
    • Strong passion for Universal IP
    • A team player prioritizing partnership, with the ability to follow instructions and follow through on projects
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting/competing priorities and stretch assignments
    • Effective communication, including speaking, writing and active listening as well as a professional presentation
    • Basic project management skills, including project management software, attention to detail, time management, prioritization and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficient in Mac, including Keynote, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe Premier and Photoshop
    • Knowledge of Acrobat, Illustrator a plus

    ** Desired Characteristics:**

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Comfortable dealing with people at all levels and easily collaborates
    • Positive, enthusiastic, and energetic when interacting with others
    • A passion and interest in games, consumer products, film/content, franchise/marketing strategy and studio process

    ** Eligibility Requirements**

    • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
    • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
    • Travel may be required
    • Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
