Job summary

Vanguard in Dallas seeks a Multicloud Identity Security Enablement & Assurance manager to lead an effort shifting IAM left as a governance partner that enables IT teams to move quickly and ensure right access across Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud.

The role will design, build, and deploy identity and access management capabilities, align with enterprise security standards, and collaborate with senior IT leadership to drive secure, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience Identity Access Management and/or cloud security.
• Experience with information security, cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP, OCI), or IT preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience leading a Global Agile team (Scrum, Sprints, etc...)

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM and cloud security initiatives aligned with enterprise goals.
• Design, build, and deploy IAM capabilities integrated with access administration infrastructure.
• Oversee policy changes to meet evolving business needs and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage resolution of complex security issues escalated from team and clients.
• Contribute to security architecture assessments and vendor contracts related to access concepts.
• Represent Vanguard as a thought leader with vendors and industry partners.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

The Multicloud Identity Security Enablement & Assurance manager will lead an exciting effort to shift IAM left as a governance partner that enables IT teams to move quickly and ensure the right access at the right time in Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud. The team will be responsible for standardizing new business enabling use cases and automating processes to ensure an efficient operational model.

Core Responsibilities

• Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Leads the design, build, and deployment of identity and access management technological capabilities that are compliant with enterprise security standards and integrated with enterprise access administration infrastructure. Works closely with senior leadership and other IT teams to align strategies and projects with business objectives.
• Directs and oversees the implementation of changes to department policies and procedures to meet changing business needs and to achieve department objectives. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manages the resolution of complex, critical technology security-related issues elevated from team and clients.
• Provides input on the technical security architecture assessment of vendor solutions and during vendor implementation. Serves as trusted partner in support of contract language related to application security access concepts.
• Maintains an active understanding of, and contributes to, the broader access management and information security discipline. Serves as thought leader across the enterprise and represents Vanguard externally as a key point of contact for strategic technology vendors and industry partners.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

• Undergraduate degree in related field or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
