Job summary

Vanguard seeks a Multicloud Identity Security Enablement & Assurance Manager to lead efforts shifting IAM left as a governance partner. The role spans Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud, standardizing new use cases and automating processes for efficient operations.

You will supervise a global Agile team, drive design and deployment of secure identity capabilities, and align projects with enterprise objectives. A hybrid work model supports collaboration and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Identity Access Management and/or cloud security.
• Experience with Azure, Google Cloud, OCI or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience leading a Global Agile team (Scrum, Sprints, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build, and deployment of IAM capabilities integrated with enterprise access administration.
• Guide and supervise crew, set performance standards, and manage compensation per HR policies.
• Direct changes to department policies to meet evolving business needs.
• Resolve complex security incidents escalated from team and clients.
• Provide input on security architecture and vendor solutions during implementations.
• Represent Vanguard externally as a key contact for strategic technology partners.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

The Multicloud Identity Security Enablement & Assurance manager will lead an exciting effort to shift IAM left as a governance partner that enables IT teams to move quickly and ensure the right access at the right time in Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud. The team will be responsible for standardizing new business enabling use cases and automating processes to ensure an efficient operational model.

Core Responsibilities

• Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Leads the design, build, and deployment of identity and access management technological capabilities that are compliant with enterprise security standards and integrated with enterprise access administration infrastructure. Works closely with senior leadership and other IT teams to align strategies and projects with business objectives.
• Directs and oversees the implementation of changes to department policies and procedures to meet changing business needs and to achieve department objectives. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manages the resolution of complex, critical technology security-related issues elevated from team and clients.
• Provides input on the technical security architecture assessment of vendor solutions and during vendor implementation. Serves as trusted partner in support of contract language related to application security access concepts.
• Maintains an active understanding of, and contributes to, the broader access management and information security discipline. Serves as thought leader across the enterprise and represents Vanguard externally as a key point of contact for strategic technology vendors and industry partners.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience Identity Access Management and/or cloud security
• Experience with information security, cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP, OCI), or IT preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience leading a Global Agile team (Scrum, Sprints, etc...)

Preferences

• Experience working with, SailPoint, Okta, Active Directory and Ping
• Undergraduate degree in related field or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
