Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field required or 4 years' experience in data analytics/related area
• Proven experience in business analytics, financial forecasting, and data analysis in merchandising/retail environments
• Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and provide negotiation support and strategic data-driven recommendations
• Expertise in tracking profit and loss, markdown management, and vendor analysis
• Ability to leverage customer insights and market trends
• Preferred: statistical programming languages
• Preferred: master's in Analytics or Business
• Preferred: Project Management Professional certification
• Preferred: Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

• Lead financial and data-driven analysis supporting merchandising strategies and supplier negotiations
• Provide financial insights and risk analysis for supplier negotiations and decision-making
• Develop and maintain department- and category-level financial forecasts
• Track profit and loss and provide budget input
• Analyze feature execution, product development impacts, and assortment strategies with merchant partners
• Use data analytics and visualization tools to generate actionable business insights
• Lead markdown management, vendor analysis, and open-to-buy discussions
• Prepare and present financial reviews and reports for leadership and cross-functional teams
• Support financial forecasting, Open-to-Buy planning, and profit and loss management for the D96 Adult Beverage Merchandise Execution team
• Identify risks and opportunities and support sales, profit, and inventory goals
